Hello! I’m Katie Courser, and I’m a New England artist from Sabattus, Maine.

Painting and drawing were things I naturally grew up doing, coming from a family with an artistic background. After getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honors in Painting in 2022, and now my Masters of Art in Teaching degree in 2024, why art matters to me and what it does in my everyday life has become so much more important. Art education has become a force in my practice that inspires my artistic philosophy, and shapes how I look at and create art today—as well as teaching it!
